Twitch app? Just unpack them to gamedata Originally posted by Funkynutz. The best way to find this out is on the mods release page, where you can go to the latest posts and look for other users either complaining it doesn't work, or saying that it works fine. It depends heavily on the mod, some outdated mods will work, others won't. Make sure they are the correct version for your game! I don't think MechJeb for instance has been officially updated yet, but there are dev versions available on the release page. Just install them manually by dropping them in your KSP gamedata folder, every mod has a release page on the official forums, with install instructions. The mods you are installing prolly aren't updated to 1. I have the same problem I don't find that helpful but okay. I wanted to know trough this post if anyone was facing a similar issue or if the method of installing the mods trough the twitch app just doesn't work. So I got the game yesterday I have played it in the past though and I installed it, decided to also install a few mods, from the curse repository and installed them trough the Twitch app, however, even though they are installed and they are loaded when the game starts they just don't work at all, the parts are not there, the mechjeb ui is not there, nothing is there. It worked with that method! Last edited by Themagicjesus : May 8, Rollback Post to Revision RollBack. Oh thank you very much, I thought I tried everything on that page already but must've skipped that one since I never got any error message. How do I use modpacks then since that was the entire point of using the twitch app? I'd prefer to not have to add them individually and it doesn't tell me why its not working through twitch. I don't know what that means, I googled Minecraft Jar Launcher but that wasn't any help either.ĭo you just mean launch it through the normal means? I've made sure I'm allocating enough RAM, I've tried creating a vanilla pack and it didn't work, I've tried multiple packs, I've tried changing the forge used, none of it made any difference. I can load minecraft through the files in the curse folder, but thats it. I don't see any change in my task manager either, even for a second. The only change is the "last played" that pops up when mousing over even though nothing pops up at all. I go to Minecraft, download a modpack, click play, and there is no response at all. I load up the app for the first time in a while today and when trying to start Minecraft nothing happens. So this is super weird, I played Minecraft through the Twitch app like a year ago just fine, and enjoyed how easy it was to find mods and whatnot.
